Aperam, a leading global stainless-steel producer, announced surcharge on austenitic stainless steel flats for Mar’23, wherein the most traded 304 (1.4301) is at Euro 2,848/t against Euro 2,930 in Feb. The average 3-month nickel contract on LME was $27,000/t in Feb’23 against $28,400/t in Jan’23. Aperam has facilities in Europe, South America and Asia, and over 2.5 mnt of flat stainless capacity per annum.
