- Brazil’s steel slab exports improved by 16% m-o-m to 642,306 t in Jan’23 as against 553,792 t in Dec’22, as per Customs data.
- The US was the largest importer at 571,780 t in January month.
- However, the export volumes inched down by 1.3% y-o-y compared to 650,589 t in Jan’22.
