Indonesia: Steel billets exports fall by 20% y-o-y in CY’22

Indonesia’s steel billets exports moved down by 20% y-o-y to 2.25 mnt in CY’22 against 2.81 mnt in CY’21, as per Customs data.
The Philippines was the largest importer with 743,647 t followed by Taiwan with 372,952 t in CY’22.
Export volumes sharply decreased by 24% m-o-m to 191,483 t in Dec’22 as against 252,642 t in Nov’22.
