Turkiye: Chrome ore exports fall by 6% in CY’22

Turkiye’s chrome ore exports decreased by 6% to 1.35 mnt in CY’22 against 1.44 mnt in CY’21. China was the major importer at 1.01 mnt, down 5% y-o-y, followed by Sweden at 0.27 mnt and Belgium at 0.03 mnt. However, chrome ore exports increased by 37% to 140,961 t in Dec’22 against 103,025 t in Nov.
