Turkiye: Imported scrap trade from USA continues at increased offers

Turkish steel mills continue to book imported scrap from USA at increased prices, SteelMint learnt from sources. In recent deals, a USA-origin cargo was booked by a Mediterranean region-based mill comprising HMS(80:20) at $420/t, the same mill has also closed a deal with a Germany (Europe)-based supplier at an average price of $412/t CFR.
Another USA bulk cargo has been booked by a West Marmara-based mill comprising HMS (80:20) at $422/t and Shredded at $442/t CFR Turkiye.
