India: Hindalco, Balco hike aluminium ingots prices sharply by INR 6,250/t ($77/t)

Hindalco and Balco have increased primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by a sharp INR 6,250/t ($77/t) today as against prices on 18 Jan’23.
Post-revision, Balco’s prices stand at INR 250,250/t ($3,077/t) while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 246,750/t ($3,034/t) exw, excluding GST.
