South Korea: Ferro chrome imports fall by 22% y-o-y in CY22

South Korea’s high carbon ferro chrome imports decreased by 22% y-o-y to 429,744 t in CY22 against 552,965 t in CY21, as per Customs data.
South Africa was the largest exporter at 209,868 t, followed by India at 126,641t and Kazakhstan at 39,375 t in CY22.
However, monthly imports increased by 349% m-o-m to 16,022 t in Dec’22 against 3,567 t in Nov’22.
