Taiwan: Finished flat stainless steel exports drop 14% in CY22

Taiwan’s finished flat stainless steel exports fell by 14% y-o-y to 891,899 t in CY22 compared to 1,037,911 t in CY21, as per customs data.
USA continued to be the largest importer at 134,234 t followed by Italy and South Korea at 92,446 t and 66,939 t respectively.
The country’s flat stainless steel exports were recorded at 55,424 t in Dec’22 against 58,920 t in Nov’22.
