Ferro manganese prices move up by Rs 1,500/MT

Ferro manganese prices have shoot up this week. High carbon
ferro manganese 70% is quoted currently at Rs 52,500/MT Ex works, i.e. up by Rs
1,500/MT from the previous week.

“Rising prices of SiMn & its improved demand is making
manufacturers to switch capacities from FeMn to SiMn. So, unavailability of
FeMn is leading to a rise in prices in the domestic market. Eport demand for FeMn
has not picked up so far”, said a official from a leading manufacturing company
for manganese alloys in Raipur.
