China’s steel inventory increases by 8% w-o-w

China’s steel inventory increased by 8% w-o-w to 8.91 mnt as on 6 Jan’23 against 8.28 mnt a week ago.
Stocks of HRCs and CRCs rose by 6% and 3% w-o-w to 2.05 mnt and 1.20 mnt, respectively. Similarly, plates stocks went up by 4% w-o-w to 1.09 mnt.
Rebars and wire rods stocks registered a sharp rise of 12% and 7% w-o-w to 3.82 mnt and 0.76 mnt, respectively.
