According to the National Energy Administration (NEA), China’s coal supply to power sector via medium- and long-term contracts is expected to reach 2.6 bnt in 2023. The country’s coal production is expected to reach 4.45 bnt in 2022, up by 8% y-o-y. NEA further added that crude oil production may reach 200 mnt and natural gas output to exceed 217 billion cubic meters in 2023.
