India: 10,000 t of iron ore lumps booked at auction from Karnataka on 28 Dec

SMIORE conducted an auction for 60,000 t of iron ore lumps (Fe58.1-59.9%). According to sources, 10,000 t of iron ore lumps were booked at floor prices of INR 4,040-4,920/t.
However, the SKMEPL’s auction for 44,000 t of iron ore (Fe54-65.5%) at floor prices of INR 2,003-5,800/t failed to attract buyers.
Prices were inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
