China’s top coal mining province, Shanxi met its production target of 1.3 bnt before the set time period, thereby safeguarding country’s energy supply. With this, Shanxi has surpassed the target of 100 mnt of output for the second consecutive year as on 27 December. The province also has a target output of 1.35 mnt for 2023.
