- Pakistan, South Asia’s major ferrous scrap buyer, imported 210,368 t in Nov’22 as against 214,435 t in Oct’22, a slight fall by 2% m-o-m, as per Customs data.
- The total volume imported by the country in the Jan-Oct’22 period was 2.76 mnt, a downfall of 25% compared to the corresponding period last year (CPLY).
