- The US’ total aluminum exports stood largely stable at 305,115 tonnes (t) in Oct’22 as against 303,418 t in the previous month, as per SteelMint’s records.
- Out of which, ores/concentrate were 7,749 t, down by 3%, scrap was 170,321 t, up by 1%, semi finished at 51,729 t up by 8% while, finished exports at 75,316 t, down 5% m-o-m.
- Mexico emerged the largest buyer with 81,508 t, Canada at 51,422 t followed by Malaysia with 45,121 t, respectively.
