India: Hindalco, Balco cut aluminium ingots prices by up to INR 2,000/t

Hindalco and Balco have reduced primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 2,000/t ($24/t) today d-o-d.
Balco’s prices stand at INR 224,750/t ($2,756/t), while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 221,250/t ($2,714/t) exw, excluding GST.
The fall by 1.3% in LME 3-month contract price on yesterday’s closing may be a factor for decline in prices.
