USA, Japan and partners mobilise $20 billion to move Indonesia away from coal

A global group of nations including USA and Japan will provide Indonesia with $20 billion finance to help wean the world’s biggest coal exporter off fossil fuels and ramp up investment in renewable energy. The package includes $10 billion in public funding and another $10 billion from the private sector.
