- Taiwan’s steel billets imports stood at 187,651 t in Oct’22, an increase of 3.5% m-o-m against 181,308 t in Sep’22, as per data recently released by customs.
- Japan was the largest exporter at 75,745 t, followed by Indonesia and Russia at 49,485 t and 42,136 t, respectively.
- Cumulative imports by the country fell by 19.48% to 2.88 mnt in Jan-Oct’22 as against 3.58 mnt in the year-ago period.
