India: Met coke imports jump 180% m-o-m in Oct’22

India’s met coke imports shot up by 181% m-o-m to 0.51 mnt in Oct’22, as per CoalMint data. Indian steel mills purchased imported met coke amid its cheaper availability from China. India’s total met coke imports are recorded at 2.59 mnt in Jan-Oct’22, up by 21% y-o-y.
