Japan: Ferro silicon imports down by 7% m-o-m in Sep’22

Japan’s ferro silicon imports decreased by 7% m-o-m to 38,822 t in Sep’22 against 41,540 t in Aug’22, as per customs data.
China was the largest exporter at 10,492 t followed by Russia at 9,258 t and Malaysia at 8,393 t.
Japan’s cumulative imports of ferro silicon increased by 4% y-o-y to 337,067 t in Jan-Sep’22.
