Japan: Flat steel exports decrease marginally, m-o-m, in Sep’22

Japan’s flat steel exports went down marginally by 2% to 1.86 mnt in Sep’22 against 1.90 mnt in the previous month. The largest share of exports was of HRC and plates at 1.02 mnt, followed by electrical and galvanised steel at 4,19,111 t and 1,86,482 t respectively. Thailand, China and South Korea were the leading importers in the month under review.
