India: Over 3,000 t of sponge iron sold to Nepal, Bangladesh

One mini rake of pellet-based DRI was sold at $370-375/t LTW eastern India, equivalent to $400/t CPT Nepal.
About 2,000 t of sponge iron was sold to Bangladesh recently. Current offers stand at $395-400/t CPT Benapole. Production in Bangladesh has dropped further due to scarcity of power.
Offers for iron-ore based DRI (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%) stands at around $430-435/t CPT Nepal.
