Balco and Hindalco have raised aluminium ingots (P1020 grade 99.7%) prices by up to INR 13,750/t ($167/t) against 12 Oct’22. Balco’s effective prices stand at INR 229,000/t ($2,780/t), while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 224,250/t ($2,722/t) exw, excluding GST. The price hike was the result of an increase in LME’s futures and spot prices by up to $147/t d-o-d.
