Taiwan: Ferrous scrap imports drop 22%, m-o-m, in September

Taiwan’s ferrous scrap imports decreased by 22% to 190,290 t in Sep’22 from 244,511 t in Aug’22, as per SteelMint data.
The USA continued to be the top exporter at 78,211 t, followed by Japan and the Dominican Republic at 55,538 t and 11,961 t, respectively.
A total volume of 2.11 mnt has been imported by the country between the Jan-Sept’22 period, down by 3% in CPLY.
