Domestic aluminium scrap prices remained rangebound today despite the marginal correction in LME’s spot prices and futures. However, SHFE and MCX witnessed a minor supportive price trend along with a sharp price hike by the primary producers. Traders, mostly scrap buyers, said that the buying pattern does not seem to be healthy enough, and might see slight fluctuation considering current market dynamics.
