NCDEX executes first delivery for steel-long contract at Mandi Govindgarh  

National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), which relaunched its revised contract on steel long under BIS norms with direct delivery at Mandi Govindgarh, successfully completed its first delivery for contract expired in Feb Month.

Sources tell that total Delivery marked under Direct Delivery Mechanism for the contract expiring  February 2013 stood at  370 tons.

February contract expired at Rs 32,200/t (Delivered Mandi Govindgarh), where as physical trade for MS Ingot closed at Rs 31,900/t (Basic, Mandi Govindgarh, Commercial grade).
