Aluminium scrap prices have moved up to INR 6,000/t over the last couple of days, SteelMint assessment shows. Trader sources expect prices to remain supported following the hike announced by the primary players. Also, a handful of scrap traders have restrained their offers, especially for utensils, amid the upcoming festive season in view of healthy transactions.
