Auto parts producers in northern and western India held multiple auctions of mild steel melting scrap this week. At an auction on 28 Sep’22 from Maharashtra, 400 t of CR-busheling punching received bids at INR 44,500/t exw. In another auction from Haryana on 30 Sep, 120 t of turning chips received bids at INR 41,400/t exw. Bids were lower compared to previous week’s auctions.
