India: MMTC floats Fresh Tender for 144,000 MT Iron Ore Purchase

MMTC on the behalf of NINL has re-issued two different fresh tenders for purchase of Iron ore fines and Crushed sized Iron ore owing to poor response from bidders.

MMTC on 3 Dec, 2014 had issued two different tenders for purchase of 120,000 MT Iron ore fines and 24,000 MT Crushed sized Iron ore, which had to be closed on 23 Dec, 2014. The tender has failed to receive bids so the company has re-issued the same tender expiring on 29 Jan, 2015.

In order to fulfill the requirement of NINL plant, the company has invited mine owners or traders only of Joda/Barbil sector in Odisha for supply of the material to NINL plant.

The delivery of the material will be done in the month of Feb, 2015. For this tender, bidders have to quote price in INR/MT on ex-NINL plant basis.

Specification

Last date for bid submission will be on 29 Jan, 2015 at 13.30 hrs and opening of the bids will be on the same day at 15.30 hrs.
