China’s South African chrome ore inventory was recorded at 1.44 mnt, up 2% w-o-w. Meanwhile, the inventory of Turkey-origin ore is 126,000 t, while that of Zimbabwe-origin is 29,000 t, both down on w-o-w basis. The market price of chrome ore continues to rise due to strong downstream demand.
