Australia: Flooding hits mining activity at Whitehaven

Coal loading from Australian mining firm Whitehaven is likely to be affected as flooding has cut access to some sites with more rainfall predicted over the next few days. Rising water levels in the Namoi river have flooded roads and access routes to some mines along New South Wales. This has impacted a few access roads to Newcastle Port.
