Japan’s Tokyo Steel rolls over steel prices, m-o-m, for Oct’22 sales

Japanese EAF steel producer Tokyo Steel has rolled over its steel prices for Oct’22 sales. Post revision, effective prices are-

• HRC (1.7-22mm): JPY 115,000/t ($802/t)
• Rebar (D13~25): JPY 97,000/t ($677/t)
• H-beam (100-350mm): JPY 124,000/t ($865/t)

The company rolled over prices considering the uncertainty in the global market amidst energy crisis and price cut announced in the previous month, SteelMint understands.
