- Uttam Galva Metallics Limited has commissioned a new blast furnace with a melting capacity of 700,000 t per annum at Wardha Steel Complex, Maharashtra.
- With this new furnace, the company’s total production capacity has increased to over 1.5 mntpa. However, the previous blast furnace has been taken down for refurbishment and capacity enhancement.
