Amid rising Russian coal demand in India, Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK) – the largest supplier of Russian coal – is in talks to open an office in India with an aim to increase supplies up to 10 mnt a year if all logistic challenges are addressed. India’s coal imports from Russia rose for the third-staright month to a record high of 2.3 mnt in Aug’22.
