Brazil: Pig iron exports rise 28%, m-o-m, in Aug’22

Brazil’s pig iron exports rose by 28.16% m-o-m to 360,008 t in Aug’22 against 280,907 t in Jul’22, as per customs data.
The United States was the major importer with 328,591 t.
Export volumes increased by 26% y-o-y to 2.45 mnt in Jan-Aug’22 as against 1.95 mnt in the same period last year.
