China: Zinc imports up marginally, m-o-m, in Jul’22

China’s zinc imports (semi-finished, finished, ores and others) increased marginally by 0.48% to 301,040 t in July as against 299,598 t in June, according to SteelMint customs data. The imported volumes of ores/concentrate stood at 292,550 t while those of semi finished and finished material were at 8,264 t and 225 t respectively. On y-o-y basis, the import volumes saw a decline by 7%.
