LNG prices in Europe continued to surge as Russia has indefinitely suspended the flow of natural gas into Germany through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline. European benchmark natural gas prices were up by 30% in a single day to 268 euros ($266) per megawatt hour. In July, Russian energy giant Gazprom cut the supply of natural gas to just 20% of its capacity.
