Brazil: Iron ore exports inch up by 5%, m-o-m, in August

Brazil’s iron ore export volumes in Aug’22 increased by 5% m-o-m to 33.46 mnt compared to 31.89 mnt in Jul, according to Brazil customs data.
On a year-on-year basis, exports inched down as against 34.84 mnt in Aug’21.
The average price of iron ore exported from Brazil in Aug stood at $76.8/t on FOB basis.
