India: NMDC’s iron ore production rises, sales down m-o-m, in Aug’22

  • India’s top iron ore miner NMDC produced 2.48 mnt of the raw material in Aug’22, up 21% m-o-m from 2.05 mnt in July.
  • Production in Apr-Aug’22 fell marginally by 10% to 13.45 mnt compared to 15.02 mnt in the same period last year.
  • Meanwhile, iron ore sales decreased by 4% m-o-m to 2.83 mnt in August.
