Australian 6000 kcal/kg NAR grade coal prices continued to trade higher at $415/t FOB basis amid heavy rainfall at mines. High-CV grade coal prices have remained above the $400/t-mark for over six months. The Australian Bureau of Meteorology has forecast heavy rainfall in coal-producing regions for 2-3 Sept’22, adding more water to the already saturated grounds.
