Vedanta’s subsidiary Electrosteel Steels Ltd (ESL) scheduled an auction for sale of around 500,000 t of iron ore fines on 29 Aug’22 from its Nadidih BICO and Feegrade mines in Odisha’s Keonjhar district. According to market sources, 250,000 t (Fe 57.5%) of iron ore fines were booked at INR 1,650-1,700/t while another 250,000 t of fines (Fe 59.5%) were booked at INR 2,150-2,250/t (including royalty, DMF and NMET charges).
