India: Balco, Hindalco hike aluminium ingot prices by up to INR 4,750/t ($59/t)

The Bharat Aluminium Company (Balco) and the Hindustan Aluminium Corporation Limited (Hindalco) have raised primary aluminium ingot (P1020 grade 99.7%) prices by INR 4,750/t ($59/t) and INR 4,500/t ($56/t) in the past couple of days. After the revision, Balco’s effective price stands at INR 232,750/t ($2,909/t) while Hindalco’s price is at INR 227,500/t ($2,903/t).
