Steel major JSW Steel Ltd scheduled an auction for 201,450 t of iron ore lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61-62%) today from its Narayanposhi mines in Odisha. Out of the total quantity, only 23,700 t of the material was booked at the base price of INR 4,900/wet metric tonne (WMT) ex-mines, including royalty, DMF and NMET, market sources reported to SteelMint.
