Korea Southern Power Co Ltd (KOSPO) has invited bids to procure 240,000 t of 4400-4999 kcal/kg GAR grade thermal coal, a tender notification showed. The bid closing date is 26 Aug’22 at 20:00 Korean Standard Time. The power company has barred sellers of Russian coal to bid for the tender. Out of the total volumes, Korea South-East Power Co and Korea East-West Power Co will buy 80,000 t each.
