India: Jharkhand mills conclude over 4,000 t billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills sold 1,300 t of billets at a price range of INR 48,800-49,000/t exw-Ramgarh.
Around 1,700 t P-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 33,100-33,400/t and about 1,100 t C-DRI (FeM 78%/Mix) deals were concluded at INR 35,000-35,300/t exw-Ramgarh.
Buying interest slowed down amidst high volatility and lack of demand which resulted in limited spot trades. Transactions are happening only on need basis, SteelMint learned.
