Sponge iron PDRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary declined by INR 250/t, while iron ore-based DRI (CDRI) prices were down by INR 150/t on 18 Aug.
- PDRI deals of 1,000 t were confirmed at INR 34,500-34,700/t exw against offers at INR 35,000/t exw.
- CDRI prices stand at INR 35,900/t exw and around 1,100 t deals were reported.
- Limited deals were recorded today as buyers have made sufficient bookings in the past few days.
