China’s CRC prices edge down by RMB 20/t ($3/t)

China’s domestic CRC prices edged down by RMB 20/t ($3/t) while HRC prices moved down by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d on 16 Aug’22. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 4,041/t ($595/t), down by RMB 41/t ($6/t) d-o-d. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 4,010/t ($591/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,515/t ($665/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
