China’s domestic HRC, CRC prices witness mixed trends

China’s domestic CRC prices rose by RMB 30/t ($4/t) while HRC prices edged down by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d on 9 Aug’22. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 4,071/t ($603/t), largely stable on d-o-d basis. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 4,030/t ($597/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,585/t ($679/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
