India: Australian 4600 NAR coal sold INR 11,600/t at Krishnapatnam port

Prices of low-CV Australian 4600 kcal/kg NAR grade coal are assessed at INR 11,600/t at Krishnapatnam Port amid rising usage by southern India-based sponge iron units. A reputed importer, having its own mine in Australia, is heard to be bringing in 4600 NAR grade to use it in a ratio of 30:70 (4600 NAR Australian:5500 NAR South African) to produce one tonne of sponge iron.
