Brazil: Slab exports drop slightly, m-o-m, in July

Brazil’s slab exports fell marginally by 2.41% m-o-m in Jul’22 to 0.59 mnt from 0.61 mnt in Jun’22, as per customs data.
The USA was the major exporter at 0.41 mnt, followed by Mexico at 0.07 mnt.
However, export volumes rose by 16% to 4.43 mnt y-o-y in Jan-Jul’22 as against 3.82 mnt in the year-ago period.
